Troubleshooting the Lovable Unlimited Extension: Common Issues Fixed
Most Lovable unlimited credit extension issues come down to four things: a bad load, a stale key, a browser conflict, or a cached Lovable tab. Here's the quick-fix checklist we walk every buyer through.
Extension won't load or is greyed out
Open chrome://extensions, toggle Developer mode on, and re-click Load unpacked on the unzipped folder - not the zip file itself.
If you see a manifest error, you likely selected the parent folder. Pick the folder that directly contains manifest.json.
Invalid or expired key
Copy the key fresh from WhatsApp - no leading or trailing spaces. Keys are case-sensitive.
If you're on the 1 Day or 7 Day plan, double-check the expiry. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm your plan status instantly.
Credits still appear limited
Fully close every Lovable tab, then reopen lovable.dev in a new tab so the extension can re-inject. A simple refresh isn't always enough.
Disable other Lovable-related extensions or userscripts - they often conflict and override our injection.
